Will he make an appearance on AEW Dynamite?
Kazuchika Okada, a top-tier wrestler in the Japanese wrestling scene, famously known as “The Rainmaker,” parted ways with New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) in January after a remarkable 17-year tenure.
After a brief stint as a free agent, he bid farewell to his hometown NJPW at the February 24th Sapporo event, sparking speculations about his next move.
Now, it seems the destination for Okada’s future endeavors, or rather where “the rain of money” will fall, has been narrowed down significantly.
It appears Okada has chosen to join All Elite Wrestling (AEW)!
Moreover, there’s talk that Okada might make a surprise appearance on March 6th, dubbed as the X-Day.
AEW boasts several top wrestlers who were once his rivals: Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, Jay White, to name a few. Plus, recent additions like Bryan Danielson and the freshly recruited Will Ospreay are shaking things up.
With the decision to leave NJPW due to a lack of challenge, Okada seems to have reignited his competitive spirit.
