３年目の禁断の扉

今年も開催 ６.３０ 新日本プロレス×AEWの合同興行『AEW x NJPW: Forbidden Door』禁断の扉。

 

３度目ともなると両団体の初夏の風物詩のような楽しみな大会です。

 

禁断の扉で、NJPWを去ったオスプレイがAEW世界王座挑戦と、ある意味、故郷に錦を飾るではないですが、新日ファンも見守る中での大チャンスです。

とはいえ、いちばん気になるのはIWGP世界ヘビー級選手権です。

 

そして、禁断の扉の将来の青写真として、棚橋社長が興味深い発言をしてます。

「近い将来、AEWと新日本プロレスの全試合シングル戦をやりたい」

 

なんと１大会、全て新日本とAEWのシングルマッチの対抗戦構想を披露します。

 

この逸材発想は、棚橋自身がファン時代に原体験した伝説の大会 １０.９ “新日本対ＵＷＦインター全面対抗戦” があるかもしれません。

 

第１試合こそヒリヒリするタッグ戦ですが、他は全て緊張感マックスのシングルマッチでした。

 

ドラスクから足四の字固めという黄金連携を生み出し、高田延彦に勝利した武藤敬司がメインの伝説の東京ドーム。

 

ちなみに私も６７０００の一人として会場にいました（笑）

今、NJPWもAEWにマウントされてる感もあるので、ひっくり返してもらいたいです。

 

今年も、開かれた扉の向こうに何が映るのか、見えるのか要注目です！！
