新日本プロレスが英米だけでなく、アジア圏にも注力していきます。
APFW（Asia-Pacific Federation of Wrestling，アジア太平洋プロレス連盟）は、日本、中国、台湾、シンガポール、タイなどのプロレス団体連盟で、２０２４年１月に設立。
同じアジア圏だけに選手らにも親しみあるでしょうし、中国と言う大規模な国と連携できれば大きいです。
猪木さんが行ってきたスケールのでかい新日本プロレスを彷彿させます。

New Japan Pro-Wrestling is making a comeback in Taiwan after an eight-year hiatus, with a focus not only on English-speaking regions but also on the Asian market.
The Asia-Pacific Federation of Wrestling (APFW), established in January 2024, comprises wrestling federations from Japan, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, and other countries in the region.
This move aims to foster familiarity among athletes within the Asian market and potentially leverage partnerships with large-scale countries like China, echoing the grand scale initiatives previously led by Antonio Inoki.
Among the featured wrestlers are New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s new president Hiroshi Tanahashi, as well as BUSHI, SANADA, Great-O-Khan with a strong Mongolian vibe, and international-experienced wrestlers like EVIL and SHO, providing a diverse lineup.
Additionally, there is anticipation regarding whether wrestlers from Stardom, a collaborating promotion, will be dispatched.
New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s focus on APFW as part of its “New World Strategy” is indeed noteworthy, signaling a strategic move to capture the Asian market.
