タッグ戦線では、YOSHI-HASHIと組んで、前人未到のWTL３連覇に、東スポ最優秀タッグ受賞など大活躍の後藤洋央紀。

 

一方、ここ数年のシングル戦線となると、特に目立った活躍がありません。

しかし、荒武者にしても、オカダカズチカ退団後のCHAOSの行方、そして、IWGP世界ヘビー挑戦へのラストチャンスかもしれません。

後藤には、準決勝のSANADA戦でも出さなかった、半ば封印している “昇天・改” があります。

 

昇天・改 の説得力とダメージはGTRやGTWの比ではない気がします。

 

後藤がここ一発を出すのか、あるいは辻が “ジーンブラスター” を炸裂させるのか！？

ここ一番の “昇天・改” を決めましたが、勝ちきれず、新時代の旗手・辻陽太が初優勝を遂げました。

しかし、荒武者は底力を見せ、それを天も見ていたのではないでしょうか。
