Koga returns
Pro Wrestling NOAH will hold a big show at Ryogoku Kokugikan on October 25.
In the main event, N-1 VICTORY 2026 winner OZAWA will challenge GHC Heavyweight Champion Tetsuya Naito.
That match is exciting enough, but there is another match we should watch!
Kengo and Koga will face Kaito Kiyomiya and Yoshiki Inamura in a special tag team match.
Koga has returned from his overseas trip, and he is ready to challenge NOAH’s top stars. He is angry with them and has a lot to say.
He has not come back quietly!
From Oowada-san to Koga
Before joining NOAH, Koga trained at Animal Hamaguchi’s gym for about three years.
He joined NOAH in 2022 and made his wrestling debut on July 15, 2023, against Kai Fujimura.
On January 1, 2024, he won his first singles match against Daiki Ozawa.
In January 2025, he joined TEAM 2000X and changed his ring name to Oowada-san. He also worked with OZAWA, who later became one of NOAH’s biggest stars.
In July 2025, Oowada-san announced that he would go overseas because he had no worthy opponents in Japan.
Before leaving, he had a farewell match against OZAWA at Korakuen Hall in August 2025.
After about a year in Europe, he returned to NOAH in September 2026 with a new name: Koga.
He looked bigger and stronger, and he had a new fighting style.
But there was another big change. He began to speak out against NOAH’s top stars!
Going overseas can change a person. You may learn a new language, try new food, or even return home ready to fight your old friends!
Koga Wants to Change NOAH
Koga says, “I am NOAH!”
He admired the old NOAH, where great matches helped make the promotion one of the best in the wrestling world.
Now, he wants to change the current NOAH. He has also spoken about his bad experiences as a young wrestler and his anger toward his seniors.
Of course, we should separate his claims from facts that have been confirmed. But one thing is clear: Koga is not afraid to speak his mind.
He also wants to make more money!
His words bring to mind the famous song “Money” by Japanese singer-songwriter Shogo Hamada.
Koga wants to wrestle in bigger arenas, attract more fans, and help make NOAH the best wrestling promotion in the world.
He has even challenged the other wrestlers to learn how to make money.
That is a bold statement from a young wrestler!
But words alone are not enough. Can he draw fans and prove his worth in the ring? That is the real question.
Will Koga Fight or Become Friends with Them?
Kaito Kiyomiya and Yoshiki Inamura have their own views on Koga’s challenge.
They recognize his growth, but they also want to show what they can do in the ring.
This brings to mind a scene from the manga Fist of the North Star.
A tiger roared in front of Raoh, but acted more gently in front of Kenshiro.
Will Koga keep fighting against Kiyomiya and Inamura? Or will he show them respect?
Perhaps there is a third choice. Their match could lead to a new relationship.
We will have to wait and see!
Can Koga Prove His Words Are True?
On October 25, Koga will team up with Kengo to face Kaito Kiyomiya and Yoshiki Inamura at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
This is more than just a tag team match.
Koga started as a young wrestler named Yu Owada. He became Oowada-san in TEAM 2000X, went overseas, and returned as Koga.
Now, he wants to challenge the top stars and change NOAH.
Will he prove himself in the ring? Will he continue to fight against the top stars? And what role will Kengo play as his partner?
The main event between Tetsuya Naito and OZAWA is a must-see, but this tag team match is also worth watching.
Will Koga keep roaring, become friends with his rivals, or choose a different path?
One thing is certain: Koga has a lot to prove!
