【機動戦士ガンダム ナラティブ】 NT 劇場版 感想 “フェネクスが強すぎ!?”

In the year Universal Century 0079, three boys and girls living in Australia, Yona Bashta, Rita Bernal, and Michelle Luo, pre-sense the dropping of colonies by the Principality of Zeon, saving many people and later being called the “Miracle Children.”

Eighteen years later, in 0097, the Laplace Incident occurs, involving the Sleeves, the Earth Federation Forces, and the Bisque Foundation.

Even after the incident, with the appearance of the Unicorn Gundam Unit 3, peace remains elusive.

Then begins the operation to capture the Phenex, called “Phoenix Hunt,” leading to endless warfare.

The three once known as the Miracle Children are now fighting in various places.

Can humanity achieve an impossible dream of immortality by capturing the Phenex?

And did the Unicorn Gundam, known as the Singularity One alongside the black lion Banshee, truly get dismantled?

The existence of the Unicorn

Before watching Narrative, I didn’t think there was much direct connection between the Phenex and the Unicorn Gundam Unit 3, but they show significant relevance. Although I knew Minerva Zabi would appear, her appearance, even for a few scenes, was delightful.

More unexpectedly, I didn’t anticipate the appearance of Banagher Links. Amuro and Char have been missing for a long time due to the Axis Shock, so I assumed Banagher would receive similar treatment.

However, Banagher continues to fight alongside Mineva (Audrey) under the guidance of Full Frontal.

While the Unicorn Gundam seems sealed, it remains intact. Just hearing Banagher say “Even so…” brings joy.

Titans and the Luo Company

Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn features mobile suits like the Dra-C and the Quin-Mantha, reminiscent of the First Neo Zeon War era. Marida Cruz’s appearance gives strong Double Zeta (ZZ) vibes.

Gundam Narrative, with its focus on the Luo Company and the Titans, has a strong Zeta Gundam (Z) vibe.

One of the Miracle Children is affiliated with the Luo Company.

Initially, they were in a facility created by the Titans to experiment on enhanced humans. Additionally, there’s a brief scene of Char’s speech at Dakar.

Although it lasts only a moment, you can see the battle between the Gundam Mk-II and the Psycho Gundam at New Hong Kong.

The Neo Zeong Second is Awesome

The Neo Zeong Second, piloted by Zoltan Akkanen, combined with the Sinanju Stein, demonstrates overwhelming destructive power. Full Frontal, known as the successor to Char Aznable, pilots the original Neo Zeong.

The Neo Zeong Second showcases even more devastating attacks and combat scenes.

In a battle against the Narrative and Unicorn Gundam Unit 3 Phenex, it displays incredible destructive power.

Gundam UC’s Sequel

The story complements episode 7 of Gundam UC, revealing the whereabouts of Banagher Links, Minerva Zabi (Audrey Burne), and the Unicorn Gundam. Additionally, the true nature of the Box of Laplace is revealed, shedding light on the state of the Universal Century.

With high-quality animation and intense action, you can experience a new chapter in the Universal Century.

Like Gundam Unicorn’s Episodes 1-7, Gundam Narrative is a compelling work that you’ll want to watch repeatedly.

As an aside, the theme song for Mobile Suit Gundam Narrative, “narrative,” is sung by LISA.

After hearing “Gurenge” and “Homura” from Demon Slayer, I found a deeper emotional connection.

Furthermore, the composer of “narrative,” Hiroyuki Sawano, known for creating songs like “Re:I AM” for Gundam Unicorn, provides an exceptional musical backdrop that immerses you in the world of the series. It’s just fantastic!
